The Southern Community Bank Money Market Account offers you a premium
interest rate on your funds while you maintain access to those
funds. This tiered account rewards your higher balances with a higher
market interest rate, although account balances less than $2,000
earn interest at the current savings account rate.
Transactions from a Money Market account are limited by regulation
to six per statement cycle to pre-authorized, automatic or telephone
transfer withdrawals, with no more than three of those withdrawals
by check, draft or debit card to third parties. A $5.00 fee will
be assessed to each item exceeding these limitations.
$1,000 minimum opening deposit required.
